The Plough has been a beloved part of village life since the early 18th century. Originally a coaching inn, it has long served as a meeting place for travellers and locals alike. Today, as a Grade II listed building, it continues to offer charm, character, and a rich sense of history.

We offer five well-equipped holiday chalets, each with its own style and private bathroom. Whether you’re staying for one night or a full week, you’ll be welcomed like family, and we’ll do everything we can to make your visit memorable. We’re just a short drive from Southwold, Reydon, Beccles, Lowestoft, and many other beautiful Suffolk destinations.

Ample on-site parking is available for all guests, whether you’re joining us for a drink, a meal, or an overnight stay. In the warmer months, relax in our spacious beer garden while the children enjoy the play area — the perfect setting for the whole family to unwind.
